The 2026 São Paulo Grand Prix runs November 6–8 at Interlagos. The race starts Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in São Paulo, 5:00 p.m. in the UK, noon Eastern and 9:00 a.m. Pacific.

There is no São Paulo Sprint in 2026
Do not use the 2025 timetable. São Paulo used the Sprint format in previous seasons, but it is a standard Grand Prix weekend in 2026: two Friday practices, a third Saturday practice, Saturday qualifying and the Sunday race.
The FIA’s official 2026 Sprint announcement names China, Miami, Canada, Great Britain, the Netherlands and Singapore. São Paulo is not on that list.

Apple TV is the exclusive US home of Formula 1 in 2026. Apple says the subscription includes every practice, qualifying session, Sprint and Grand Prix live and on demand, without advertising breaks during the race coverage.
The current US price is $12.99 per month. Eligible new subscribers may receive a seven-day free trial. Trial eligibility and renewal are account-specific, so check the checkout screen before confirming.
Every F1 practice is available without an Apple TV subscription. Apple also says selected race weekends may be free, but it has not identified the São Paulo Grand Prix as a free race weekend. Do not wait until Sunday expecting the race tile to unlock.

Install the app, sign in and test another live event before Friday practice. If you plan to watch in 4K, verify the event tile, device and connection rather than assuming every feed is 4K.
Watch in the UK on Sky Sports F1 or NOW
Sky Sports F1 is the primary live UK route. Sky’s Formula 1 page currently advertises the F1 channel from £20 per month as an add-on, subject to the required base TV package, minimum term and current offer conditions.
Viewers without a long Sky contract can use a NOW Sports membership. The published prices reviewed for this guide are £14.99 for a Sports Day Membership and £34.99 for a flexible Sports Month Membership. NOW can change offers, minimum terms and Boost features, so verify checkout before paying.
There is an important Day Membership trap for this weekend. Qualifying starts Saturday at 6:00 p.m. GMT and the race starts Sunday at 5:00 p.m.—23 hours later. A 24-hour pass activated shortly before qualifying will expire while the race is still running. It cannot cover all of qualifying and the complete race. Buy separate access or choose a month if you want both sessions in full.

Free UK highlights on Channel 4
Channel 4 retains free-to-air Formula 1 highlights in the UK. Its agreement also covers live British Grand Prix coverage, not a live São Paulo Grand Prix broadcast.

Formula 1’s official deal gives Globo exclusive Brazilian rights from 2026 through 2028. The distribution spans TV Globo, sportv and Globoplay.

Is the São Paulo race free on Globoplay?
Globo says eligible viewers can watch the local TV Globo live signal on Globoplay after signing in with a free Conta Globo, subject to geographic availability and supported devices. Because local live-channel availability can vary, open the Live section and verify the TV Globo tile before race day.
Practices and qualifying are on sportv, which is included in Globoplay Premium rather than the free tier. The official plan guide says Premium includes sportv, sportv2 and sportv3 and supports up to five simultaneous streams.
The latest published standard tariff reviewed for this article lists Globoplay Premium at R$39.90 per month equivalent on an annual plan or R$54.90 on a monthly plan. Globoplay devices and internet speed
Globoplay supports current web browsers, Android and iOS devices, many smart TVs, Chromecast, Roku, Android TV, Apple TV and Fire TV. Globo’s current minimums include Android 5+, iOS 14+, tvOS 14+ and Fire OS 5+, subject to device model and app support.
Globo recommends about 5 Mbps for live video, 10 Mbps for HD, 20 Mbps for 4K and 30 Mbps for HDR. Those are per-stream baselines; shared home use needs additional headroom. Check the official device and connection requirements.
Can I watch the São Paulo Grand Prix free?
There are legitimate free options, but no single free service covers every session in every country.
- Brazil: TV Globo carries the Sunday race live. Eligible viewers may also access their local TV Globo signal through a free Conta Globo on Globoplay.
- United States: all three practices are free through Apple TV. The São Paulo race itself has not been announced as free.
- United Kingdom: Channel 4 provides free race highlights, not the live São Paulo race.
A trial is not the same as permanent free access. It can require an eligible account and payment method and normally renews unless cancelled. Avoid websites offering shared logins, restreamed channels or “free IPTV” feeds; these may be unauthorized, unstable or unsafe.
Replays and watching late
Apple states that US subscribers receive races live and on demand, plus Race in 30. Sky and NOW typically provide replay or catch-up features according to the subscriber’s package and device. sportv’s official rights include live and delayed coverage, but the exact Globoplay replay window should be checked on the event tile.
If missing the start matters, verify three things before race day: whether “watch from start” is available, how long the full replay remains available, and whether the device supports rewind during a live channel. Globo warns that rewind and fast-forward can be unavailable on some TVs.
Turn off sports notifications if you want to avoid spoilers, and open the replay directly rather than browsing a results-heavy home screen.
Interlagos circuit facts
The Autódromo José Carlos Pace is better known as Interlagos. Formula 1 lists the circuit at 4.309 km, with 71 race laps and a total race distance of 305.879 km. The first Formula 1 Grand Prix there was held in 1973.
Valtteri Bottas holds the listed race lap record of 1:10.540, set in 2018. The short lap, elevation changes and unpredictable São Paulo weather can compress gaps and make safety-car or rain delays especially important to the broadcast schedule.
