How to watch the Dutch Grand Prix in the US
Apple TV is Formula 1's exclusive US broadcast home for the 2026 season. A US Apple TV subscription includes every practice session, Sprint session, qualifying session, and Grand Prix live and on demand.
Apple's current published price is $12.99 per month, with a seven-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. Formula 1 coverage is included in the normal US Apple TV subscription; it is not a separate race purchase.
Apple says the service provides:
- Every Grand Prix weekend session live and on demand
- English and Spanish commentary
- Full replays, highlights, and spoiler-free Race in 30 programs
- F1 TV Premium at no additional cost for US Apple TV subscribers
- Additional feeds and Multiview on supported hardware
Read Apple's current terms before subscribing: Apple's official 2026 Formula 1 viewing announcement.
US device support
Apple lists the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV 4K, Apple Vision Pro, Mac, many Samsung, LG, Sony, Vizio, and TCL smart TVs, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast with Google TV, PlayStation, Xbox, and web browsers at tv.apple.com.
Device features are not identical. Apple says Multiview is supported on selected devices, including Apple TV 4K, iPad, and Apple Vision Pro. Check Apple's device list if 4K, Dolby Vision, or Multiview matters to you.
Can you replay an early session?
Yes. Apple's official 2026 announcement says the sessions are available live and on demand, with full replays, highlights, and Race in 30. That is useful for the 6:00 a.m. Eastern and 3:00 a.m. Pacific Sprint start.
How to watch the Dutch Grand Prix in the UK
Sky Sports F1 carries every practice, Sprint, qualifying session, and race live in the UK and Ireland. Existing Sky TV customers can add Sky Sports, while viewers who do not want a traditional Sky TV contract can use NOW.
Sky's Dutch GP schedule shows the race at 2:00 p.m. BST on Sunday, August 23. The full 2026 schedule is available from Sky Sports F1.
Watch through Sky Sports F1
Sky states that Sky Sports F1 is the only UK channel showing every practice, Sprint, qualifying session, and race live. Current promotional prices depend on the underlying Sky TV product, contract length, and whether the customer already has Sky.
Because the total cost can include both a base TV plan and a Sports add-on, check the complete order total instead of quoting only the add-on price. See Sky's official Formula 1 package page.
Sky Go provides mobile viewing for eligible Sky customers. Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q support varies by package, and UHD may require an additional pack and compatible equipment.
Stream with NOW Sports
NOW provides Sky Sports F1 without a traditional Sky TV subscription. Its official help page currently lists:
- Sports Day Membership: £14.99 for 24 hours
- Sports Month Membership: £34.99 per month, renewing until cancelled
- No free trial for a Sports Month Membership
A single 24-hour Day Membership cannot cover both Saturday's Sprint and qualifying and Sunday's race if activated too early. For the whole Sprint weekend, a Month Membership may be simpler, or separate Day Memberships may be needed. Compare the checkout total before buying.
NOW supports many smart TVs, computers, phones, tablets, streaming devices, and game consoles. Its base plan streams on one device at a time; Boost or Ultra Boost can add higher resolution and more simultaneous streams on supported content and devices. See NOW's official F1 page and current Sports membership terms.
Is the Dutch Grand Prix free to watch in the UK?
Not live in full, based on the rights verified for this guide. Channel 4's agreement provides free-to-air highlights of Formula 1 qualifying, Sprint sessions, and Grands Prix through the 2026 season. Live free-to-air coverage applies to the British Grand Prix, not the Dutch Grand Prix.
The official agreement is described in Channel 4's Formula 1 rights announcement.
Check Channel 4's current listings closer to the event for the precise Dutch GP highlights time. Do not assume the highlights program starts immediately after the race.
How to avoid missing the start
- Confirm the session time on Formula 1's event page one day before watching.
- Sign in to Apple TV, Sky, or NOW on the device you will actually use.
- Install updates and test playback with a normal program before race day.
- If you use NOW, confirm when a 24-hour pass activates and expires.
- Start the stream 10–15 minutes early so account, HDMI, or Wi-Fi problems do not cost you the opening laps.
- If your household streams on several screens, check your service's simultaneous-stream allowance.
For connection planning, see the internet speed needed for HD and 4K streaming. If the picture repeatedly pauses, use the IPTV and live-stream buffering diagnostic to separate Wi-Fi, device, player, and source problems. Fire TV users can also follow the Wi-Fi connected but no internet guide.
Can you watch while travelling?
The US and UK services in this guide have territorial availability and account rules. Apple describes its Formula 1 access as a US subscription benefit, while NOW and Sky publish UK eligibility terms.
Use the service only where its terms and rights permit. A subscription purchased in one country does not guarantee that the same live event will play in another country. Check the official Formula 1 broadcast information page for the broadcaster serving your current market.
