Las Vegas Grand Prix 2026 schedule
| Session | Las Vegas (PST) | US Eastern (ET) | UK (GMT) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Practice 1 | Thu, Nov. 19 — 4:30 p.m. | Thu, Nov. 19 — 7:30 p.m. | Fri, Nov. 20 — 12:30 a.m. |
| Practice 2 | Thu, Nov. 19 — 8:00 p.m. | Thu, Nov. 19 — 11:00 p.m. | Fri, Nov. 20 — 4:00 a.m. |
| Practice 3 | Fri, Nov. 20 — 4:30 p.m. | Fri, Nov. 20 — 7:30 p.m. | Sat, Nov. 21 — 12:30 a.m. |
| Qualifying | Fri, Nov. 20 — 8:00 p.m. | Fri, Nov. 20 — 11:00 p.m. | Sat, Nov. 21 — 4:00 a.m. |
| Race | Sat, Nov. 21 — 8:00 p.m. | Sat, Nov. 21 — 11:00 p.m. | Sun, Nov. 22 — 4:00 a.m. |
The conversions come from Formula 1's official Las Vegas schedule. Formula 1 displays the underlying times in UTC: Practice 1 at 00:30 and Practice 2 at 04:00 on November 20; Practice 3 at 00:30 and qualifying at 04:00 on November 21; and the race at 04:00 on November 22.
Las Vegas is on Pacific Standard Time, UTC−8, by race week. The US Eastern zone is UTC−5 and the UK is on GMT. This produces different calendar dates even though viewers are watching the same session.
Recheck the official event page before each session. Weather, track repairs or operational decisions can change start times.
Why some schedules show November 22
The race happens Saturday night in Las Vegas but early Sunday in Europe and in Formula 1's UTC timetable.
That is why the official calendar describes the Las Vegas round as November 19–21 in the United States while the session table can show a November 22 race. Both can be correct:
- Las Vegas local race: Saturday, November 21 at 8:00 p.m. PST.
- UTC and UK race: Sunday, November 22 at 4:00 a.m.
Do not convert the UTC date without also changing the time zone. A page that calls it a Sunday-night Las Vegas race is incorrect.
Las Vegas is not a Sprint weekend
The 2026 Las Vegas event uses the standard Formula 1 format: two Thursday practices, a Friday practice and qualifying, then the Saturday Grand Prix.
The FIA's official 2026 Sprint calendar names China, Miami, Canada, Great Britain, the Netherlands and Singapore. Las Vegas is not included.
Watch in the United States on Apple TV
Apple TV is Formula 1's exclusive US broadcaster in 2026. Subscribers receive every practice, qualifying session, Sprint and Grand Prix live and on demand.
The current direct US price is $12.99 per month. Eligible new subscribers may receive a seven-day free trial. Apple also advertises three promotional months for eligible customers who purchase and activate a qualifying new Apple device; eligibility and redemption deadlines are account-specific.
The official Apple Formula 1 announcement lists the price, trial, supported devices, live coverage and replay features. Confirm the offer shown at checkout before subscribing.

Availability of 4K, HDR, surround sound, Multiview and alternate feeds depends on the event, device and app version. Do not assume that every supported screen receives every premium feature.
Can I watch the Las Vegas Grand Prix free?
Apple says every Formula 1 practice is free without a subscription in the US. That covers Practice 1, Practice 2 and Practice 3 in Las Vegas.
Apple also says a selected number of complete race weekends will be free, but it has not identified Las Vegas as one of them. As of the verification date:
- Practice 1: confirmed free
- Practice 2: confirmed free
- Practice 3: confirmed free
- Qualifying: Apple TV subscription required unless Apple later labels the weekend free
- Race: Apple TV subscription required unless Apple later labels the weekend free
A seven-day trial may cover the complete weekend for an eligible new subscriber, but it renews unless cancelled. Trial eligibility is not guaranteed.
No nationwide licensed free live Las Vegas race stream has been announced. Start2Watch will update this guide if Apple designates the weekend for free access.
Replays and watching late
Apple states that subscribers receive every race live and on demand, plus full replays, highlights and Race in 30. Its Formula 1 experience is designed to avoid spoilers when opening replay content, but device behavior can vary.
Before Saturday night, verify:
- Whether “watch from start” appears after the live stream begins.
- Whether the full replay is available immediately on the intended device.
- Whether notifications or the Apple Sports app may reveal the result.
- Whether the connection supports the desired resolution.
If avoiding spoilers matters, disable score notifications and open the saved event directly rather than browsing sports news.
Las Vegas Strip Circuit facts
Formula 1 lists the Las Vegas Strip Circuit at 6.201 km, with 50 laps and a race distance of 309.958 km. The modern Las Vegas Grand Prix first appeared in 2023.
The 17-turn street circuit passes major Strip landmarks and produces average speeds compared with Monza. Formula 1 currently lists Max Verstappen's 1:33.365 from 2025 as the race lap record.
The late start and cool desert-night temperatures can affect tyre preparation and track conditions. They can also make delays especially inconvenient for East Coast and European viewers, so leave extra time after the scheduled finish if recording another program.
How to set up the stream
- Open the Apple TV app or tv.apple.com with the US account that will be used on race night.
- Confirm subscription or trial eligibility and the renewal date.
- Search for Formula 1 and save the Las Vegas event.
- Update the app and device operating system.
- Test another live Apple TV sporting event on the same connection.
- Turn off sports-result notifications if watching on delay.
- Open the session 15 minutes before the listed local start.
Use Start2Watch's internet speed guide for HD and 4K streaming to plan bandwidth. If the stream freezes, follow the stream buffering diagnostic. Fire TV viewers can use the Firestick Wi-Fi troubleshooting guide.
Travelling during the Las Vegas weekend
Apple's Formula 1 rights described here apply in the United States. The Apple TV catalog and sports rights can change when the viewer leaves the country.
Use Formula 1's official broadcaster directory for the country where you are physically located. Do not assume a US subscription will reproduce the US live feed abroad, and do not use a VPN to bypass territorial restrictions or service terms.
